Effect of an educational program about heat stroke patients' outcomes

Heat stroke is an acute, life-threatening emergency characterized clinically by elevated body temperature and central nervous system dysfunction. Nursing care for patients with heat must prevent complications optimizes patient outcomes. Aim: The aim to evaluate the effect of educational program on outcomes regarding stroke. Design: A quasi-experimental research design was used conduct this study. Sitting: This study carried out at Emergency department Isolation room Assiut University Hospitals. Subject: convenient sample included 60 adult diagnosed Stroke. Tools: Patients̓ assessment patients̓ sheets. Results: There no statistically difference between two groups social demographic studied patients. significant before after (P. value 0.001**). They (Acute renal failure, Arrhythmias, Acute respiratory distress syndrome brain damage). Regarding there in mortality rate length staying. Conclusion: incidence cared nurses who received education decreased. Recommendation: Replication a large acquired from different geographic areas Arab republic Egypt generalization.
